Happy Valentine’s Day to those of you who celebrate (if not…happy Tuesday). I don’t put a lot of stock in Valentine’s Day, but I have to admit I will take any excuse to eat chocolate, smell some beautiful flowers, go out to eat, and spend time with my best friend. Joe and I don’t usually exchange “gifts” but we will get each other little things that we know the other likes.
This year, I got Joe…the perfect card…
…some coupons for dates and lots of his favorite chocolate.
He got me a beautiful bouquet of long stem red roses and a teddy bear. Exactly what I wanted! He also picked up a few heart shaped Dunkin Donuts for us to enjoy over some brunch! I am one lucky girl!
Last night and this morning I got a lot of work done for my seminar slides which was a huge relief. Now I just need to start memorizing what I’m going to say when I present. Today I have one class, then a fun-filled date night with Joe downtown. Can’t wait!!!

Aww, such sweet ideas.
How’s your semester going and when is your next race?
The semester is going well, but it’s stressful. I have a lot coming up before March 1st then spring break so I will have a lot of stress off me then. I am scheduled (and planning but who knows with my schedule) to do disney princess half in 2 weekends then I just signed up for broad street run may 6th! Sold out in 6 hours so happy I got my spot because its one of my favorite races!
I’m wearing this bhirgt red skirt that I rarely have an occasion to wear. I somewhat hate Valentine’s Day, but I like dressing for it. Just because I’m bitter and alone doesn’t mean I can’t be bitter and alone and stylish.
